Directions
Dissolve 63.00 grams in 950 ml distilled water. Boil to dissolve the medium
completely and add 1g of esculin and mix thoroughly. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure
(121°C) for 15 min (Overheating may causes darkening of medium), cool it to 42-45 °C and add
50 ml filter sterilize horse serum mix properly and distribute aseptically in petri plates. Ensure
complete solidification and inoculate test sample aseptically.
