Directions
Dissolve 16.00 grams in 990 ml distilled water. Boil to dissolve the medium
completely and distribute 9.0 ml of media in test tubes containing inverted Durham’s tube.
Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs. pressure (121 °C) for 15 min, cool it to 42-45 °C and aseptically
add 1.0 ml of filter sterilized rhamnose sugar (the final concentration of rhamnose is maintained
at 1%), mix well and inoculate test sample.
